'I Felt. Another Moment. I Feel.' is a Short Film that I created as an introspective exploration of my inner emotional/mental state during this difficult period. The film thematically divulges in the fleeting ephemerality of human experience, a notion that became so very apparent during the isolation of COVID-19 Lockdown. I predominantly aimed to cinematically explore feelings of isolation, nostalgia, memory, and temporal impermanence through an oneiric aesthetic approach.
This film stylistically explores the interrelationship between Memory and Present Human Experience, presenting their conflict through ethereal montage crosscutting and subtle audio divisions within the ambient soundscape (different audio-visual motifs for 'dream' and 'real-life' scenes), whilst ultimately concluding in the narrative unification of both 'present moment' & 'dream state'.
